for uni? like university or? And idk. I was kind of in this situation too, my senior year. They didn’t let me get my license or work until my first year of college, which was like this school year lol, and now they expect me to pay for gas, and want me to start paying my own phone bill and car. It sucks.
I would suggest to keep bothering with it or try to explain to them that if they want you to pay for your own stuff, then you have to work. If anything, try to find a close relative you can just live with and work. If I were you I would rather get kicked out and work for my own money then stay at home and earn nothing.
